We weren’t expecting to post anything this week, but when we went up on Friday evening we were very pleasantly surprised.
There’s been 1 artisan there this week quietly working away & he’s put up all the remaining ceiling fitments & most of the ceiling plasterboards. He’s been with this firm for 30 years & clearly knows what he’s doing.
He’s confident that he’ll finish the ceilings, put in place most of the insulation & start on the internal walls next week, with the help of an apprentice. Unlike the others he prefers to work in August & to go on holiday in September.
We’re delighted & that’s 1 week closer to the others being back on site. 1 week down & 2 to go!
All the internal doors are on site now as well.
